TheCruxCo ("we", "our", "the publication") is committed to protecting the privacy of its readers. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.
1. Information we collect
Analytics: we use privacy-first web analytics that record anonymous, aggregated visit data (page viewed, country, referrer, device type). No personally identifying information is collected by our analytics.
Email subscriptions: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address with our email service provider for the sole purpose of sending you the digest. You can unsubscribe in one click at any time.
Contact: if you email us, your message and email address are retained only as long as necessary to respond.
2. Cookies and advertising
When we enable display advertising (Google AdSense, Media.net or similar), third-party ad networks may set cookies on your device to measure ad performance and serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings and at the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
